The impacted apps include Snapchat, Roblox, Signal, and the language learning app Duolingo, as well as multiple Amazon-operated operations such as its key e-commerce platform and the Ring security home security firm.

Across the United Kingdom, Lloyds bank was affected along with its subsidiaries the bank Halifax and the Scottish bank, and also reports of issues accessing the HMRC online portal on that morning.
