Victoria's Weather Woes
Meanwhile, nearly one thousand energy customers in the southern state also encountered power outages after Melbourne recorded its heaviest rainfall in a year and a half.
State Emergency Services received 598 calls for help across the region, mostly for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

Meteorological Predictions
Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both regions.

Health officials warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
